Lee O'Brien
Lee was born at Kirkcaldy, Fife on 20th September 1985 to John and Lynne and has 2 sisters Lana (22) and Susan (27). He spent most of his life growing up in Dalgety Bay and attended Donnibristle Primary School and Inverkeithing High School.
He then spent the last two years of his life living in Methil with his father John and attended Kirkland High School and Sandy Brae High School, Kennoway.
He was a huge Manchester United F.C fan and was passionate about motorbikes and even built his own bike as a school project. He was eager to turn 17 so he could apply for his driving licence and buy his own bike.
Before Lee passed away, he started work as an apprentice butcher in Kirkcaldy and very much enjoyed his new career. Early rises and long days, but Lee was dedicated to his job and strived to do well.
His first real love was girlfriend Gina and her child Cody (2) and he loved to spend time with them both and make plans for their future together.
Lee was a popular boy and had many friends. He had a caring nature and would be only too happy to lend a helping hand to anyone. Although he thought of himself as ‘grown up’ and mature enough to tackle the world, he was still a young boy at heart, inexperienced and naive to life.
Sadly he fell prey to the deadly grasp of the solvent killer ‘Cigarette lighter refill gas’.

Unaware of the dangers involved, Lee’s life was cut short at the age of only 16.
Lee is buried at East Wemyss Cemetery alongside McDuff Castle, where he is now at peace. Sadly missed by many, we all have fond memories of Lee and he’ll never be forgotten. A treasure in our hearts.
